This is a rare gem of a restaurant, neatly hidden in Northbridge and just a 10 minute walk away from Perth central station. AIDA is a traditional Egyptian restaurant that serves great Egyptian cuisine, strong Egyptian coffee and flavoursome Shisha through grandiose pipes.

The service is incredibly friendly and the decor is quite unique compared to anywhere else in Perth. Large replicas of ancient Egyptian statues stand gazing over the ornate lounges for parties and more generic seating area for casual diners.

The cuisine is all cooked traditionally and the portions are generous and incredibly tasty. The Shisha comes in a variety of flavours and is a fantastic, albeit slightly toxic way to wind down after a busy day. I would recommend the traditional Egyptian coffee, although not too late in the night as it's incredibly strong.

Another perk of this venue is their belly dancers. These can be booked by request if you call the venue in advance and book a table. They offer some of the most talented belly dancers in Perth, and charge reasonable rates for this entertainment.

They offer free corkage, a complete bonus as AIDA is already an affordable and reasonable venue.
