Adventure Park Geelong was Victoria's first water park and continues to provide family friendly entertainment to patrons today. The park is located in
Wallington, near Geelong, and is open from October to April.
Adventure Park provides water and land based rides and attractions for children and adults. Get your thrills on the 120 metre Tunnel of Terror, take it easy at the River Torrent Lazy River or challenge your friends on the Six Lane Aqua Racer. For the children, there's the Tiny Tots Splash Zone and Bonito's Bay Waterplay.
On land, families can choose from a selection of activities. There's go karts for older children and electric cars for the little ones, a carousel, mini golf and archery. Adults can enjoy the adult jumping castle or a game of volley ball. And if you'd like to partake in a water activity without getting wet, head to the lake for paddle boats and canoes.
Onsite facilities include sun lounges, locker hire, wheelchair accessibility, first aid stands, twenty one hectare picnic area, fifty undercover marquees, barbeque hire and free car parking. If you didn't bring lunch, purchase something at one of eight eateries – options include an ice cream kiosk, a burger barn or a wine bar.
The park is an environmentally friendly venue that is considered one of the best water saving parks in the world. Using water saving technology, Adventure Park manages to reduce, reuse and recycle 90% more water than traditional water parks.
