Have been to Adriano Zumbo's Balmain patisserie plenty of times, and found out about a new Adriano Zumbo patisserie opening up at The Star Casino in Pyrmont, and thus decided to check the
Adriano Zumbo Dessert Train out. The setup is unique where a staff member comes around and takes your order based on the macaroons and cakes you see around the train. Although this establishment is quite small, thank goodness it is nowhere near as crowded as the Balmain store.
A small space to walk around and begin to salivate at all the cakes and macaroons around the train. Your order is then taken to the front counter for pickup. Was able to try a couple of the macaroons that are not normally available at the Balmain store. Although they are a little bit pricey, they are worth it for a small indulgence in such a spectacular design space. Think of macaroons such as the coconut, lavender and chilli macaroon that made way for an interesting and different taste sensation, despite the macaroons being a bit too pretty to eat on this occasion.
Worth coming to at least once to check out and indulge a little and really appreciate the fine desserts which are classed as fashion food thanks to MasterChef.
