The Australian Wind Orchestra was created to provide the opportunity for wind instruments to come together and perform compositions written specifically for wind orchestras. Members of this ensemble include past and present Elder Conservatorium Music students and musicians from the community, all aiming to perform regularly and delight the public whilst giving this classical genre the exposure it deserves.

As part of a celebration of the orchestra's fourth year and a grand finale to their 2016 concert programme; the Australian Wind Orchestra and wind conductor Dr.John Lynch will perform "Hopes and Dreams" , exploring the deepest human fantasies and ambitions.

" Hopes and Dreams" will take place at Elder Hall on Saturday the 5th of November at 8:00pm, tickets can be purchased online, adults $30, concession $20, children $10.
