If you are looking for a quiet, idyllic, picnic spot where you can enjoy the sunshine than the Adelaide Botanic Gardens is for you. You can wander around the many rows of Australian native and exotic plants all year round. Experience the beauty before you as you admire the brightly coloured flowers and breathe in the sweet scent in the air. You can sit on a grassy slope and watch the birds as they wander around.

There are plenty of places for people to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch or lie down and close their eyes as they listen to the birds singing in the distance. Indulge and buy an ice cream from the local kiosk or sit and eat lunch inside if you prefer to do so. Staff are available to help and provide you with the information that you need to have a fun, educational, day out. You can easily walk from the city centre after a day of retail therapy to the gardens or catch public transport if you need to. If you require further information you can visit the website.
