There are many ways to enjoy a spectacular view of London.
You could take a trip on the London Eye and relax in a capsule as the giant Ferris wheel makes a full rotation.
Or you could climb to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral and peer over the city from atop its majestic domed roof.
Alternatively, book a plane ticket, take a short holiday, and then, as you come in to land at Heathrow on your return to the UK, look out of the window as you fly over the capital. You'll have to hope for a cloudy-free day though.
Or how about chartering a hot air balloon from somewhere and seeing the city that way?
If the above sound unexciting or borderline ridiculous, then there is another way. A way that'll give you an adrenalin rush, and best of all, a way that would raise money for a good cause.
Guy's Hospital, near Tower Bridge, organise
regular abseiling events, allowing you to enjoy views of London while dangling on the end of a rope halfway up a building.
Starting at a height of 469 feet, you gently lower yourself down the side of Guy's Hospital Tower, happy in the knowledge that your daredevil antics are raising money for local hospitals.
To take part in an abseiling event, all you need to do is fill in a form and agree to raise £250 for
Guy's and St. Thomas' Charity. You're also required to pay a £20 registration fee.
To raise the £250, you could hold a special fundraising party with friends, or set up a webpage specifically geared towards fundraising, with the help of websites such as
Just Giving or
Virgin Money Giving.
Places for each abseiling event are limited to 35, so if you can't sign up for one event, just wait for the next one.
