This year's ABC Gardening Australia Expo will be held at JR Fleming Stand and Grounds - Rosehill Gardens Racecourse from Friday the 19th of August to Sunday the 21st of August 2011. This major annual expo returns just in time for Spring.
Over the three day weekend family event there will be a range of activities and special events on offer, from an
ABC Kids stand featuring Shaun the Sheep and Bananas in Pyjamas' B1 and B2, to presentations by special guests such as Gardening Australia's Stephen Ryan, Angus Stewart and Tino Carnevale to a
series of stages dedicated to sustainable vegetable growing, key gardening skills, handyman tips and tricks and much more.
Highlights of the 2011 program include the interactive
Backyard Games kids activity centre, the
Garden Idea Exchange which is all about sharing your tips and tricks with other ABC Gardening Australia Expo visitors,
Floral Art demonstrations and workshops, a special
Kids Love Gardening display, which includes a heart shaped garden and a

Tickets are now on sale for this event. An adult ticket is priced at $17, a family pass (2 adults and 2 children) is priced at $37, a senior/pensioner ticket is priced at the discounted fee of $15 and a child ticket (5 to 16 years) is priced at $6. The event will be open from 10am until 4.30pm on Friday, 19th August, Saturday, 20th August and Sunday, 21st August 2011. Free parking will be available on site and the venue is located near Rosehill Train Station.
