The Queensland Council of Garden Clubs, umbrella organisation of over 120 Garden Clubs throughout Queensland, introduces on Saturday, 11th April, from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, 12th April, from 9am to 3pm, at the Auditorium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

Join them for bold and beautiful displays of plants and floral art, as well as interesting and informative talks by garden experts.

On Saturday, Des Warnock will talk on soil, Noel Burdette will be guiding us through "Creating a Healthy Backyard Habitat", as well as talks on Floral Art by Heather Prior, and Roses by the President of the Rose Society Paul Haines.

On Sunday, there will be talks on Herbs and Geraniums by Sally Moore, Australian Natives by Lawrie Smith and Organic Gardening by Phil Ryan.

Throughout the event, there will be plants for sale, many unusual and not available in nurseries. There will also be raffles and delicious refreshments. Admission are $3.00 with free entrance for children.
