Step into the Roaring Twenties; think The Great Gatsby and Gershwin's
An American in Paris when you are dressing for this hilarious theatrical dining experience hosted by Bare Elements Production. Costumes are most enthusiastically encouraged at
A Dinner To Die For , where the guests are included as part of the show.
A Dinner to Die For is an interactive dining experience centred round a musical murder mystery that will have you laughing along with the other guests in a riotous evening of song, dance, cut crystal and jazz. Led by an ensemble cast who perform during dinner, diners become part of the show and everyone can chose which character they wish to play, then participate as much or as little as they like around the Agatha Christie-esque, Dinner to Die For plot.
Imagine it's Christmas Eve 1928 and you have been invited to Lord Quinten Daventry's annual party. There you will meet new friends (and cast members) the flighty Miss Fanny, former army colonel Uncle Bernie, and Scottish Nanny, Nanny Maude. Come prepared for a
'hilarious romp peppered with music, murder, mysteries, disembodied limbs and suitably hysterical screams': all the hallmarks of a hilarious night out you will remember long afterwards.
Starting at 7.15pm, the evening runs for around two and a half hours. Dinner is a delicious three-course meal for $76 per person with drinks extra. Bookings of five or more people attract a 10% discount, so round up all your friends and make it a party. The next A Dinner To Die For is the Christmas in August special. It is being held on Saturday 27th August 2016 at The Retreat Hotel, 226 Nicholson Street, Abbotsford.
Bookings can be made via the
website or by contacting 0408 496 168. There is also more information about Bare Elements Productions on their
A Dinner To Die For Facebook Page.
