Driving into Doveton you would never imagine such a quaint animal farm is located in outer-east suburbia.

However you will be pleasantly surprised to find that Myuna Farm, located on Kidds Road in Doveton, meets all of your expectations as a hands-on community farm.

The farm prides itself on letting everyone of all ages and abilities to experience hands on contact with the animals, which include lambs, calves, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Some of the larger animals you will be sure to see include emus, peacocks, and kangaroos. And don't miss the opportunity to feed the deer, alpacas, buffalo, cows, goats and sheep. If you're into the weird and wonderful, be sure to see the snakes and lizards on show at the farm.

With too many adorable animals to list, Myuna Farm is set alongside Dandenong Creek, allowing for a picturesque setting for both the animal residents and visitors.

At only $2.00, a train ride is an absolute must, which takes you on a charming tour of the farm. And if the kids are keen, for only $1.50 they can enjoy a ride on one of Myuna's friendly ponies.

A family trip to Myuna Farm is a great way to spend a day getting up close and personal with a variety of animals.
