A Dangerous Method has such a dramatic opening - do not miss the first scenes. David Cronenberg seizes the story and dives into the malaise, portrayed with the same trembling and shivering direction displayed by Keira Knightley in her role as Sabina Spielrein.

The cast shows able restraint not to overdo a harrowing subject.

It is essentially about Freud and Jung and their differing approaches, played respectively by Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender. Their rivalry takes several turns for better and for worse as they are close and need each other as a foil to their rivalry and success.

Tap into their minds and revel about the mysteries of how their thought processes work.

You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommended.
