Noodle Market

The world famous (well maybe) North Sydney Noodle Market gets the woks heated up every Friday night during summer (October to April) from 5.30pm until 10.30pm in the Civic Centre Park, North Sydney.

Sydney's finest Noodle chefs come out to play, along with the culinary overseers of various other Asian cuisines.

The park provides a nice setting with lots of grass to lounge about on and some elevator entertainment is provided, creating the scene for a quiet and convivial evening.

The park is a 15 minute walk from the North Sydney Train Station, it's easy to reach via bus (check the 131500 website) and there are car parks lurking nearby.

If the weather looks a bit dicey then ring the rain hotline on 9936 8272 to make sure the noodles are still a-noodling. I've never rung a rain hotline before, I may give it a go just to tick it off the list. You've got to have a list.

Why? Those noodles won't noodle themselves!
