Tucked away in Pinewood Shopping Centre, away from the major shopping complexes, is 57 Cafe, a cafe with a modern cosmopolitan feel that could be found in any major city. It opens early, closes late and serves everything from eggs for breakfast in the morning, to late night desserts after the movies.


We had been to the Waverly Cinema earlier in the evening, so stumbling across this cafe was an unexpected pleasure. It's a very busy little place, with both inside and out side seating.


The dinner guests were in the process of leaving which luckily made room for us. The cake display was very tempting and wouldn't have been out of place in either Lygon or Ackland Streets.

Proximity to to disabled parking - there is disabled parking around the corner at the cinema but I'm not sure if there is other disabled parking closer.
