For the past 35 years, crafters from all over the United States have converged on the Lincoln Center for the Annual American Crafts Festival . This year, 2011, the event will be held on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, as well as on Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19.

Exhibit hours on the two Saturdays are from 12:00 noon until 9:00 PM; the hours on both Sundays are 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Admission is free.

This is an outdoor event, and will take place no matter what the weather does. The crafters do have tents for their exhibit displays, so if it's raining or the sun is really beating down, they probably won't mind if you duck under a tent for a little break until you're able to continue on down 64th Street and Columbus Avenue, where the event is held.

Not only will there be craft displays, but there will also be entertainment going on constantly during the festival hours. In addition, you can watch craft demonstrations, and enjoy different kinds of foods. Some will be exotic, some will be all natural, but it's all likely to be delicious.
